Bigboy 4018 - Railfair '99

	The following is a collection of some photos of friends that we have made, we value the friendships and memberships that this historical restoration project brings to all of us. It is not only your purchases, but it is also your interest that makes this project possible. We can never thank you enough for all of your support.
	Railfair is exactly what it says it is, the largest and most elaborate railroad fair in the world. We had a fantastic time meeting Big Boy fans from all over the world. The theme was to set out and tell the story of over a century and a half of railroading history, with railroad equipment, music, folklore, and its colorful history.

	It was so wonderful to be able to finally meet so many of Big Boy's fans. We saw so many fathers and sons, some starting from three years old and holding their dad's hand, to teenagers and fathers counting the impressive wheel arrangements displayed on the Big Boy model. There were even fathers in their nineties, being helped by their sons now. All of them having fun, while sharing questions, answers, and precious time together.

Smith and his son, Tyler	We do not know of any other hobby that brings together fathers and sons of such diverse ages and interests like railfaning and model railroading do. The father and son, shown in the photo on the left, as well as the thousands that were present at Railfair, are among many of the reasons we have to restore this American Legend. We look forward to Police Officer C.D. Smith and his son, Tyler, coming to Texas to chase Big Boy up and down the Texas Landscapes!	A fan turns out to be a great help and a good friend
